Sacred Cacao Ceremony: An Invitation to your Heart
Cacao is honoured & consumed as a medicine by the indigenous peoples in several tropical places around the world. The traditions that have grown around the cacao bean vary from tribe to tribe, but within all there is a mutual understanding of this plant as being connected to the energy of the heart– which is love!
When we sit in ceremony with the spirit of this plant, we are inviting the wisdom of not only cacao to come through, but as well the wisdom of our own hearts, and the heart of Mother Earth.
Cacao opens our hearts physically, emotionally & spiritually so that we can connect to and embrace ourselves at a deeper level, allowing us the space to heal the many wounds & pains that we tend to bury inside. Simply put, it’s a beautifully enriching experience where your heart takes the lead and clears the way for inner healing and self-love to meet you!
This ceremony is an invitation to your heart, and will be guided based on Central American traditions, where we will connect to our voices and the innate flow of love that connects all living things.
For this ceremony:
Please avoid eating 1 hr before this event, especially sugary things
We will work with very light breath exercises, music and gentle movement
We will refresh ourselves with fresh fruit and tea at the end of the afternoon!
